We start this activity at 9:00 am, you will be transferred for a 20-minute ride to Km 8 of the Santa Teresa sector in Las Piedras district to go to Chestnut Amazon Park, this is the first theme park designed to highlight and promote the rich cultural identity of Madre de Dios region, through the revaluation of the productive activity of the chestnut (Bertholettia excelsa).
The goal is to offer a unique experience that will immerses visitors in the fascinating history and traditions associated with this priced natural resource.
Through a variety of carefully selected activities, the visitors will have a real experience on how the chestnut activity was developed, from harvesting and using traditional tools, during the tour our local guides will tell you anecdotes and local experiences.
At the end of our activities and already learned how to master the techniques of chestnut collectors, you will return to the lodge.
